I am skeptical if a H1b visa holder post informational videos on youtube.
In case he happens to receive any earning from Youtube, how to deal with the earning. Please let me know if he needs to reject any earning received.
Independent compensation channels are prohibited for H-1B workers. Your H1B employer can provide you bonuses, raises and incentives which of course must be declared for tax purposes but YouTube earnings will be legal only if that too is current employer defined. Otherwise it is not legal. Also an H4 spouse with a valid EAD can do this easily but not the primary H1B.
