I have to get passport made for one month old baby , for birth certificate I hv taken print online from MCD website ,will that be accepted by passport office or do I have to visit MCD office and get copy from there . Please advice as I have already taken appointment in passport office .
Passport offices request original copy specially for babies because it is proof of bonafide parent correlation and reduces kidnapping/adoption risks. Is the online copy a pdf document with signatures (then it can be used) or a simple statement of birth with no signatures?
