Biometrics for H1B Extension - Qualify for Interview Waiver

Hello,

I had my stamping done via in person interview for my h1b visa in 2018 after Biometrics.

For my renewal, I do qualify for interview waiver when looking at the checklist and wanted to understand if I need to schedule a biometrics prior to drop-off appointment.

So biometrics done first and then go for drop-off appointment after, will that be the way to go?

Biometric is not required for Visa Interview Waiver program (aka dropbox).
