I have booked B2 visa appointment to my in-laws last year 2023-June. The appointment is schedule at Chennai - July(2024)- 19th(biometric) and 21st (interview) . My question is: Will there be any problem as the period between appointment booking and actual appointment is just above 12 months? I have read some articles about this situation that, DS160 is valid for 12 months and I have to create the new DS160, so someone from the application center can add the new DS160 and allow. If anyone face the similar issue?. Kindly advise. Thanks for your help in advance.
You can call VFS and double check of you will need to submit a new DS-160. Typically you submit updated DS-160 if any of the information provided is the original DS-160 changed between the submission and appointment, such as a new passport.
