B2 Visa sponsorship, should I use L1 B or H1B I-797

Hi,

I’m in the process of sponring a B2 visa for my mother and was wonder which petition do I use. right now my status is L1B and applied for H1B(2014) this year and got it approved effective from 1-Oct-2013.

I’m sponsring the visa for the month of May2013, so do I use the L1B I-797 or H1B’s I-797 approval notice. I know it should be L1b as my H1B is effect from 1st oct. But, just wanted confirm with some else just in case I’m wrong.

If she is appearing n May, you will be on L-1. So use that as the basis.
