B2 visa for my mom before i travel on H1

Hi,

I am travelling to US on H1B next month. I want B2 visa for my mom to be taken now (before i go) so that she won’t have to go through that alone. Can i do that by staying in India?

Plz give details.

You can try, but it might be tough as you are still not in US.
