If we request a B2 Extension due to Covid uncertainty would that still be considered a valid reason at this time?

It may be considered but there is no guarantee. Lots of people were able to extend the stay for their visiting parents who didn’t wanted to travel back due to covid risk and increasing spread in India.
Thank you for the response. Looking at the covid numbers looks like the risk is going down in India right now.
