My son is 10 years old. I have to renew his B1/B2 visa. I completed his DS-160 form, and then proceeded to create a profile for him on the visa scheduling website. However, after the 1st question (nationality), the next question that pops up is whether or not the previous visa was issued on/after his 18th birthday. I am not seeing the new questions as you have posted somewhere here.
Now, Case 1 : if I try to play the system and select yes to the above question, then it leads me to the interview waiver page and onwards to the payments page.
Case 2 : If I select No, since my child is only 10 years old, then I do not get the interview waiver, which means we then have to travel to Mumbai for an in-person interview.
What do I do? Getting any advice from VFS here is nearly impossible. Getting any advice from the visa scheduling support is just as bad.
Any advice would be helpful.
