Automatic H4 EAD Extension Eligibilty

Hi,

My last H4 EAD had expired in Nov 2019 and since then, now in April 2023 I have applied for H4 EAD renewal. I have received the receipt and has valid I94 till 2025.
I would like to know if my case is eligible for Automatic Extension and if I can work currently.

Automatic extension is eligible when the renewal is applied before the EAD expires.

You qualify for this extension if you:

  • Properly filed Form I-765 for a renewal of your employment authorization and/or EAD before your current EAD expired
