I am trying to apply h4 visa for my spouse. But with the Executive order in place I am not sure whether they are accepting new h4 visa applications. Has anyone applied for a new H4 visa recently? I am asking this question as there are also emergency based applications i guess. Are they only issuing new H4 visas to the person with emergency situation?
Yes, though there are many asking for Emergency appointments, they are not giving for everyone. In the past, it was slightly better. You can definitley give it a try, if you fall under exceptions.
