I am closely following the H1 B applications for FY 2017. The numbers indicated are, for example, Quota type: Regular-145; Masters-50). Is that 145,000 and 50,000 applications? Or 14500 and 5000 applications? Little confused on that. Please help.

No, these are not in thousands but just 145 and 50. This data is entered by community users and so the sample size is pretty small as compared to actual filing data.
