My H4 EAD approved last month but didnt receive my SSN card. When i apply the EAD i checked the SSN box. Do i need to apply SSN separately. If So, can you please tell me how?
It usually take a longer time. But at times, there is a diconnect or lost infomation between USCIS and SSA. Go to your nearst SSA office and check the status. Most likely, you may need to reapply. Best would be. Call the SSA first, take an appointment for new SSN application, fill a new application and take it along with you. If the SSA finds your already existing but pending SSN application, you can just come back. If nothing is pending, you can submit the filled in SS applicaiton.
