Applying H4EAD while waiting for H4 approval

Hi Team,

my Spouse waiting for H4 approval which was filed along with H1b on April 17th. H1B Got approved.

Can I apply H4 EAD for my spouse while waiting for H4 approval with H4 Receipt number?

You can apply for it. The trick is, if you get H4 EAD adjudicated before the H4, then you may get RFE to submit the H4 approval, just need to be aware of that, so that you understand the delays associate with it.
