Applying fresh L1B with Approved H1B Petition

Hi,

I am working in Company A from Non US location and Company B had filed H1 last year and approved. I am still waiting for stamping to be done, But now company A is planning to apply L1B soon,

  1. so will there be any issue filing L1B with approved H1B? Any impact for approval?

  2. In case L1B approved from Company A and travel to US, what is the process to switch to H1 again?

  2. An employer can file COS for you from L-1 to H-1, or you can leave US and re-enter on stamped H-1 visa. You don’t lose your H-1, it becomes “dormant”
