Applying for H4 Visa when H1B is also getting applied.

Hi

I am not sure if this question is asked in past or not:

I am on H1B and in USA and wife’s H1B will be applied in April 2016 by her company. She is presently in India.

If I apply for her H4 in March or April then will that impact H1B process in anyway.

She is planning to take 3 months of leave to visit me from May 1st to Aug 1st. She will be using her H4 Visa for that.

She can apply and travel on H-4 while her H-1 is pending. If she returns home after Aug 1, then she can appear for H-1 visa and once approved, can travel again to work in US on H-1.
