I came to India in December 2019 and during H1B visa stamping, got 221(g). Because of coronavirus situation, US Embassy in India is closed and i am afraid, my client will not extend my contract. I work in an EVC model. My husband is in US on H1B visa. Can i apply for H4 while my H1B is in Refused status as part of 221(g)? Any info on what they might ask me during interview and how best to answer them would be very useful. Also, what documents should I carry in order to not get 221(g) on H4 as well?
I have heard of cases where they can give 221(g) on H4 as well.
