I am on F1 visa and my f1-opt got rejected now and my Sevis record is also completed due to this.But I am having 2 years to get my F1 visa to expired. Now I came to my home country and planning to apply for H4 visa. But I am not sure whether I am in F1 status still or whether I am out of status since my Sevis record is completed. So how do I apply for H4 visa? Do I need to apply for H4 visa normally or do I need to apply for change of status from F1 to H4 visa. And will this effect my H4 interview? Please help with these questions. I am not understanding the exact process to go ahead.
