I am working in CMM Level 5 company. I applied H1B from other employer and my petition was picked from lottery. After visa stamped, Can i change my employer with current company. If yes. please let me know the process?
Yes, you can. The employer needs to file cap-exempt petition for you. The documents required are same as the old petition. The additional document required is copy of H-1 approval notice; or at least the receipt number with a print out of online status showing it as approved.
Can i follow the same process even before visa stamping? Please confirm. So that i will check with my current company now itself.
Yes, this can be done even before you get your 1st H1B visa stamped.
