About amendment in progress

Hi,

My employer has filled a amendment for my role change on July 2015 under non premium(I have received the receipt for the amendment) and I had traveled back to India while amendment was in progress. Also, my Visa is expired and I have a valid petition till march 2017. Whether there is any issue if I will go for stamping now.

You will use the old petition for visa stamping, which is for a role that is no longer valid. Correct?

That may run into issues if the consulate decides to verify the role etc.
