Hi,
I got laid off on 11 Jan,2023. My last date with the company ends on 11 Feb,2023 , that is after 1 month notice period.
My 60 days grace period starts after 11 Feb or it has already started?
My company statement states following:
As you have been advised, your employment with the Company will end effective as of February 10,
2023 and effective as of January 11, 2023, you will be relieved of your current duties and
responsibilities
The USCIS discretionary 60 day grace starts effective the next day from your last working day. I would highly recommend consulting your employer’s immigration lawyer for your case specific guidance based on your employment termination terms.
