221g interview doubt

Earlier I had submitted my documents for H-1B at Chennai VAC Dropbox appointment. My visa status later changed to Refused and I received my passport with 221(g) white slip.
It shows I need appear for an in person interview at Chennai consulate on a specific date and time

In my CGI page I was not able to schedule any appointment, shall I directly walk-in to the consulate with required documents or do I need to book any appointment on the specific date. Can you please suggest. Thanks.

You don’t need to book appointment as they already provided you time and date. Just carry the 221g and copy of all documents you had submitted in dropbox and go walk in before 15 mins at the time allocated.
