I have received a 221g which has the checkbox selected for
"You must bring the following documents with you: " which is under the checkbox
“You must appear for an interview with a consular officer. Please bring this letter and your passport with you.” However, this checkbox is not selected.
Nowhere there is an interview date mentioned and I haven’t been asked to schedule an appointment either. Does this mean I can come any day to the US Consulate at Mumbai and appear for an interview and show documents? I initially thought I might just need to submit documents at a VAC, however, that’s a separate checkbox on page 2.
