221g and 214b in H1B Dropbox

Dear Team,

I initiated my dropbox at Bangalore VFS on 6th Oct,2017

  • Received notification Passport ready to pickup today 24-Oct

  • Received 221(g) document for both of our passports me and my wife

-doc is not blue colour, Is it some thing else ?

  1. There are 2 checkboxes marked - one for the 'Please appear for an interview with a consular officer…" and the ‘Other’ checkbox with ‘Fingerprint only’ handwritten on it.

Am i required to go through Fingerprint and Visa Interview both or Fingerprint only ?

  1. I also received a 214b document in the package - with neither of the check boxes marked. Can you kindly suggest what that one means.

Guys, ANY SUGGESTION/INPUT WOULD BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED…
