2 petitions for same person from Employer and US consultancy

Hi,

Is it possible to apply 2 petitions for same person one from Employer and another from US consultancy for same year.

Please clarify with some useful sites from USCIS, if yes what are steps we have to take.

Two Petitions can be applied for same persons from different employers/vendors/consultancies or combination of any.

Each petition is considered an individual one. 



If both get approved , you can work for any one of the employer starting from Oct 1.
