What is the avg time taken for getting an approved H1B petition exempt?

Hi,

My H1B Visa is expiring on 30th Sept 2013, and I have not travelled to US yet. If I apply for H1B exempt in August, by when can I expect the exempt to be approved?

Regular processing can take 2-4 months unless RFE is issued.
