Visa I160 Consulate question

Hi Team,

I have received I797 for my H1b Petition and it says consulate as Chennai. Does that mean you need to give Visa interview at Chennai only. I have Mumbai Consulate nearby.Can’t I give interview there ?
Do you need to fill any form for the same ?

You can schedule interview at a different consulate than the one mentioned in I-797B, not an issue.
