Visa expired/but I94, can i apply EAD

Hi, My wife is in L2 visa, visa expired 3 months before, but we have I94 for 2years.

so, whether my wife can apply for EAD with expired visa, with valid I94 ?

Yes, she can apply for EAD and submit her and your’s I-94 as proof of maintaining valid L-1 status inside US.
