Virtual job role while on H1B - Work from Home ? Rules , LCA?

Hello Kumar,
I am working as Soft developer with an insurance company(700 employees). Due to pandemic we all are working remotely. looking at work productivity, Company has decided that IT people(30 people) can continue remote work from home even after pandemic. Basically, they provide us whole work station and company extension at home only. We have video meeting twice a day with our manager for work reporting. Do people , who are on H1b / F1 opt are allowed to do the same? Do USCIS have any legal issues with this kind of work. Please clarify.

Yes, you can work from home on H1B and also on OPT. Yes, the legal requirements are you need to have the proper LCA for the location. Your attorney would take care of it. Read below.
