Very Urgent- l1 to h4 cos. Please help.

Hi Saurabh,

I want to transfer through cos from L1 to h4 . My i94 has already expired on March 2016 and my visa transfer from L1B to L1A got rejected on last week of may 2016. my husband has valid h1 for 1 year till 2017. Can I apply for L1 to H4 COS through I539 form from here(US) now or I need to go back to India and apply h4 from there? What are my options.

Please advice.

Your I-94 has expired and so no COS can be applied from inside US.

You should leave US, get H-4 visa stamped and then return to US on it.
