Using Social Security Number for Multiple source of income

It’s common for H1B visa holders to want another source of income aside from the job their work visa covers. Similarly, I want to enter Network marketing business, this model depends on person-to-person sales by independent representatives, often working from home, more like a residual income source. But the important thing to keep in mind here is it requires my SSN, so that the profits (provided this model works for me) can be credited to my bank account. My question is, is it legal to use ssn at more than one place as a source of an income if I am on a H1b visa? Will it be an issue during the I-485 process?

Thank you in advance!
