typo in DS160 regarding monthly income

Hi,

My H1B visa appointment has been booked with US consulate and it is on 19th of this month, however while i was filling in DS160, for monthly income field i gave the value of yearly income. Can anyone here please help me if that would impact my VISA in anyway or do i need to cancel my appoinment and take a new one. Any quickhelp would be greatly appreciated.

I heard that you can edit DS-160 form when filed for H-1 interview. You can explore that option.

If not, you can complete another DS form and carry both forms during the interview. Then at the first window inside the consulate let the person know about this and they should be able to swap the old DS# with the new one.
