My employer is filing for a H1B in the 2014 quota , in the mean time i also have a H4 approved . If i travel on a H4, the prospects of my H1B approval would not get affected right ? Also if i plan to do a COS after reaching the US ,would i ihave to wait until the petition is approved or can i apply for the COS while the petition is in review?
