travel to India now when on L1 here and have 1.5 mnths left on his VISA?

due to some urgency my husband has to travel to India now, probably this week. His L1 Visa expires in mid-October. His employer’s are ready to file L1 extension for him after he is back after 2 weeks( by 10th Sept). My doubt is, is there any probability for immigration officers to not let him in US when he’s back?

He will be going with all documents needed to prove that his employer will be filing his extension here.Reply needed ASAP.

There won’t be any issues for re-enter. There won’t be much questions. This is your husband will get the I94 till your visa validity when he re-enter. You can reenter even when you have 15 days validity
