Transfer a visa on i94 validity after current petition is ended

Hi ,
I have employer A. My petition ends on 10th August.
My I194 ends on 20th august.

My new employer B will file LCA on 5th august.However approval will take 8 days. Can a new employer initiate a transfer of my H1b visa on 15th august as my I94 is still valid till 20th august?

What do you mean by the petition ends and I-94 end date here?
Your latest H1B approval would have the I-94 attached to it at the bottom of the approval notice, that will over ride any other existing I-94s.
Clarify this to further advise.

My i94 ends 10 days after my petition end date. My petition ends on 10th Aug and i94 ends on 20 th august.
The I 94 I got was through airport.
Can I do transfer to New employer on 15 th August in premium?

Give me the dates:

  1. When did you enter into US last time? (what was the date of I-94 given at that time at the entry?)
  2. Did you apply for any extension of trasnfer after that last entry? If so, what was the I-94 date attached at the bottom of such approval notice?
  3. What do you mean by petition here? Petition will never have an end date. It will have filing date only.

  1. I entered on June 5 2017.
  2. My I 94 date in that entry was 20 th Aug 2019.
  3. Petition meant I-797 A approval has date of 10th August.
