Time limit to book Visa interview

Hi,

Can anybody let me know if I can fill in DS-160 form and do all formalities and get a visa date for August 2013 ?

Is there a limit as in when we have to book an interview date ?

Please advise.

I don’t think you can book an interview that far in future now. If you intend to travel in August 2013, you have two choices

	Get the VISA stamped now. You can travel anytime before 30 Sept 2015.

	Do nothing now. Start the processing sometime in June-July 2013.


DS-160 should be filled/submitted when you intend to book an interview date in a month.
