Hi I have one question regarding Tax filing. I filed jointly with my spouse for tax return but since My spouse needs ITIN. So we filed for spouse’s ITIN with IRS office and I have not receive any update so far(its only have been 1 month I filed for ITIN). So in this case do I need to file for extension of my tax return since deadline is approaching. Or it will automatically taken care by IRS? Thanks!
