This is my situation.
I work with a US Fortune 50 non-consulting company as their Full time permanent employee. My company has initiated GC processing. My Labor application is in process and as I understand it will be few months before my company can file for I-140. My H1-B expires in Nov’2014 (6 years completion).
Due to some personal reasons, I need to be in India for about 6-8 months. I am wondering what will be best possible option to be out of US for the said period without any negative consequences and with minimal impact. I do not know the legalities or any implications of being away from US for that long.
Could you suggest some options?
