Selected in H1B Lottery FY16, what next?

Hello,

I received an intimation from my employer today (02-May-2015) that my H1B petition is been selected in the FY2016 quota. I understand that now the application and the documents will be reviewed and they might come back to me if they need anything. My question is whether there is any chances of rejection hereafter? Will there be any wait-list candidates in case there are rejections?

Of course, you can be rejected if they find problems with your application. Usually doesn’t happen, but lottery doesn’t guarantee you a visa. There are no waitlisted candidates. USCIS has already selected a few extra than the 85,000 required in anticipation of rejections. There are no waitlists.
