RFE Response time-too much delayed

Hi ,

I received RFE for my H1B extension, By now it is more than 90 days since I submitted all the docs. There is no response yet.

Can I ask employer to followup with USCIS in this case? If we make a service request, will it effect negatively while decission making ?

Service request cannot affect the decision. It is just checking the status of the application. Your employer/lawyer can call to USCIS.

Thanks for the response. I am in India, I can ask my employer to follow up with application. There is no lawyer involved here.
