My employer filed RFE response for SOC 1121 and CIS has updated same. I just want to ask by what time i can expect RFE decision as my employer says 3-5 months but any time sooner possible.

It is very hard to say how long they can take to respond. Sometimes, it can be few weeks, sometimes it can be few months. One of things that you can do is upgrade to premium processing, if you want to get a faster response. Read How long does it take for H1B Processing.
