Renewed the passport in US 3 days gap beeween two passports

I am in US on L1 visa, my visa and I 94 are expiring in Apr 14.

I renewed my indian passport in US, in jan 14.



Though I sent in my application before expiry of old passport, start date of new passport I received is 3 days after expiry of old passport.



 



Is this an issue? Does it cause for my stay us for those 3 days illegal?

 

My company is renewing my L1, would this be an issue for L1 renewal or 

even any future visas?

 

Any help is appreciated, Thanks in advance.

You were technically without a home country for those 3 days. This however is not a matter of concern for US non-immigrant visa purposes as that is defined by your I-94 end date
