Regarding I485 Process after I140

Hello All,

My first leg of H1B is valid till Sep 2017. Can my employer file I140 in Premium Mode to get an update asap?

I wanted to know that after my I140 is approved, to next file I1485(adjustment of status), I need to wait until my priority date is current. My question, during the next 10 yrs (under EB2) if the attorney who filed my I140 stopped working or stopped doing Immigration Working job, can I get help of any other attorney that point in time to work getting my I1485 approved?

If your PERM is approved, then I-140 can be filed in PP. If the attorney is out of business, then your employer can ask their new attorney to do 485 filing for you.
