Hi,

I have one question.

My Opt will expire on March13 2016. I am going to apply H1 on April 2016. can i get CAP GAP I20 from my school? If yes How long its valid ?

You can get cap-gap if you are selected in the lottery. However, you cannot work during this cap-gap period. This is b/c you will be on the 60 day grace period when application is filed. Had you OPT been expiring after Mar 31, you would have been eligible for cap-gap w/ work authorization.
