I recently got my h1 transfered from abc to xyz company, but due to some issues I am planning for a change, but not sure on the h1b transfer process, so would like to know if there are any problems if h1b transfer has been filed for an individual within a certain period of time resulting in rejection of petition…pls advice…
Technically, there is nothing called H1B transfer. Your new employer is filing a completely new petition for you. The only point is that they use the previous petition’s receipt number to make it a cap-exempt petition. Thus I believe that there won’t be any imapct on your H1B approval with switching to a different company in a short notice.
