process after H1B approval notice

Hi,

I have got hard copy of H1B petition from my employer. But currently my travel is getting delayed because of some reasons. My petition is valid from Oct 2015. Is there any process need to be followed after getting hard copy of petition though I will not be traveling this year?

Once petition has been approved, you need to appear for H-1 visa stamping. Your employer will provide you the documents to support the same.

Once visa stamp is approved and your employer wants your services in US, you can travel to US.
