probability of getting successfully stamped if we go prior 90 days?

Right now I’m on OPT extn till Dec 2013 and my US visa is expiring in August 2013. I was planning to get my stamping done in September. Few of my friends were suggesting its better I go in October or November after I get my H1 pay cheques. My only concern is: is that ok if I go in sep or is it kind of taking risk?? If you please advise on this.

Are you going to work for a US company or a consulting company? If you are going to work for a big US company, then it doesn’t matter whether you go before Sep or after Sep.
