Please tell me if employee or self can file GC?

Hi,

Can self/individual file for an GC while he is in L1A and already working for 5 years in US. If yes how can this be done? Please let me know all exceptions possible. Thanks in advance.

I presume you are looking for Green Card Through a Job and for that an employer has to get a labor certification and then file a Form I-140, Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker, for you. Individuals cannot file for GC through a Job.
