My cap exempt petition was approved on 15th Jan 2016. I am in the process of filling in DS-160 and would be done in next 1 or 2 days. Thereafter, immigration team of my company (one of the big 5 Indian company) would review the filled in DS-160 and take VISA interview date. I want to know how long does it take for PIMS to get updated in Database? I believe US consulate can’t grant us VISA unless PIMS is updated. Please advise how long should I wait before taking up the interview.
