I recently got my H1 petition approved but now my company is proposing another client, so I am due to apply for amendment, should I go for stamping now or wait for the amendment, the amendment might take time, is there a time limit on when the stamping should be done after H1 petition approval?
Kindly suggest the best way I can handle this.
You should wait for Amendment to be approved. The reason is, if there is client verification, you may get into trouble, if you do not work for them. You can go for stamping using the notice as long as it is valid and you have a job tied to the same.
Thank you for the info Kumar, but please note I got my petition approved in Dec 19, my new client will send the offer and documents only in Feb20, is waiting without stamping for 3 months ok, is there a limit to when the stamping should happen(no of days) after the petition is approved?
