Per diems on H1 B Visa ( Legal/Illegal ) ?????

Hi Everyone,

I am looking forward to know if it is legal to work in USA with per diems on h1b visa ? If yes, what should be the per diem amount for New Jersey state ?

I have H1B and will be travelling to USA for 1.5 month, and this is what my company is planning for me , per diem on h1b for 1.5 month. I am really confused if this is legal and it will have any implications in future …

AFAIK per diem is illegal …you should be employed full time and paid according to LCA amount in that area.
